The Mountain View

Filed Under: Uncategorized Tagged With: arizona, AZ, mountain view, mountains, Santa Catalinas, Tucsn, tucson

It’s not that I don’t love trees, we just didn’t love these enough to hide our Mountain View. Meet the “before”…pretty? Yes.

These oleanders are pretty too and provide some shade but also were blocking so much of the mountain. They are also poisonous, so I wasn’t too sad to get rid of them.

From this angle, as you can see, it was pretty much a view of all trees. I talked Trav into keeping the big pine tree inside the wall. It’s going to be a pain for pool clean up but it sure is pretty and does provide shade in the backyard, where we need it.

We now have sprawling views of the mountains that we’re hiding behind all of the trees and brush. Yayyyyyyy!

Exposing these Mountain Views feels like the times when I expose all of the character under dark wood stain, except I didn’t have to do any of the work this time! The mountains are AMAZING!!! I’m soooooo IN LOVE!!!

We will eventually do some other things to the backyard in terms of landscaping and such, maybe an outdoor fireplace, but for now… I am in awe!!! The photos don’t even do it justice!

I’m hoping the neighbor’s brush doesn’t grow too high. For now it makes for good filler at the bottom of our Mountain View.

They still have some oleanders to get rid of on this side but what they have removed has made all the difference already!

Thank you, God for your creations! It sure is over the top amazing!!!!!

Wow! Most all I can say is, wow!!!

Trophy Landscaping in Tucson, Jim and his crew, did an awesome job! Highly, highly recommend!!

Same thing happened to our view when we had a huge pyracantha removed, packrat nest and all!! Sadly we can’t have all the trees removed or trimmed because they’re on private property. But we still have a darned nice view of the Santa Rita’s and the Whipple Observatory right from our recliners!
