My Fall Home Tour

I love the Fall season! Living in the desert gives a very different Fall vibe than where I grew up in the state of Indiana. I love the cool crisp mornings and evenings that we have been having. The days are still ablaze, but I will take it for beautiful winters. Whites and neutrals are a big part of my home. I love the calming feel that neutrals give. And pumpkins on a cake platter? Yes, please!

Adding some pumpkins here and there goes a long way for spicing up a home for the Fall season.

My living room area is one of the rooms that doesn’t get very “Fallified”. I know that’s not a word but it sounded good. ?

I do LOVE my feed and alfalfa sacks that I picked up at my dad’s farm and turned into pillows.

DIY art helps spice up my shelves for Fall. I made this leaf art with leaves that we pulled out of our pool.

I added pallets to the shelves of this old media cart for more of a rustic/industrial feel. It works great for an outdoor serving cart!

Sometimes just adding the word “Autumn” makes it feel more like Fall here in our desert state.

This sign has moved around a lot in my home. I love it and love that I could make it from free weathered pallets!

Our back patio is now one of my  favorite areas to hang out. I love how it all came together with so many thrifted finds. Pumpkins and antlers make a great Fall tablescape.

I finally hooked in some lights to my vintage shades and they are amazing! I love the ambiance that it gives to our Fall evenings.

I hope that you all have a wonderful Fall season with lots of smores, football, hayrides, pumpkin carving, and family get togethers!

Thanks for stopping by! I would love to see you around on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook as well!

I found this old painting for $2 at a rummage sale I found this old painting for $2 at a rummage sale last weekend…I didn’t love it “as is” but with it only being $2, I wasn’t as scared to try this technique on it. I darkened the gold on the frame with some rub n buff and added glaze to the painting to make it look antique. It turned out exactly how I desired…I love the the after so much! ♥️ (more details in stories) #library #books #bookstagram #book #painting #paintingart
I found this old coffee grinder in an online aucti I found this old coffee grinder in an online auction, and I didn’t pay only $2 for it. I’m pretty sure it was one of those things where I was like, “Trav, this is going to be my birthday present” …it was months before my birthday so he forgets and still gets me something…of course I didn’t do that on purpose. 😁 I don’t buy pricey things like this often but it was something that I had been wanting for a while and they can go for $400-$500 online 🤪Lots of you ask if we use it, the answer is, I want to, but I just keep forgetting bc Trav is the one that drinks coffee and I don’t want to remind him that we have it or I might not get a birthday present this year.🤔And, I honestly don’t remember how much I paid for it but it was in the $200s …but it seems I really got it for Trav bc I don’t drink coffee🤔, but don’t tell Trav. #antiquecoffeegrinder #coffeegrinder #kitchendecor #kitchenremodel

Trav made this mantle out of a bed side rail 🤩 Trav once said we have too much stuff in the garage…but I found our mantle in the stuff 🤔…if we didn’t have stuff, we wouldn’t have this mantle😁 #mantle #mantledecor #brickfireplace #woodceiling #antiquepainting

I thought I would paint the swan …but, nope, not I thought I would paint the swan …but, nope, not after seeing it in here 🤩Oh, and the lights are back in stock and listed in my profile. 🏃‍♀️ (they are pendants but we pulled the cord through to make them flush, I love them!!) #swan #laundry #laundryroom #vanity #farmhousesink
Thanks for reminding me that I have stuff in the g Thanks for reminding me that I have stuff in the garage 😁 We covered our TV with art stuff from the garage and metal pipes and, it worked 🙌🏼😁 (see stories) I can still see the tv from the side but when we get the new wall bracket for it, that should help bc we can push it back more. It’s a good temp fix to have some cool art instead of a black box! Oh, and who remembers when I stripped this dresser? #tvart #brickfloor #oldpainting
