I love old rugs! I know, you probably already knew that fact, with as insane as I get on my IG stories when I see one. I was looking for a larger vintage looking rug and when I found the real deal with all of the colors that I was looking for, I was in love! Chester is a little upset because he does not match my rug this time but I’m sure he will get over it.
I found some amazing pillows to accent my rug and would love to know what you think of them. I can’t keep them all but I wanted to bring them home and see what they looked like in my space. I am sourcing them all at the end of this post, along with a source list of this space. Alot of these pillows are actually on sale and cheaper online than they were at my local store. I am thrilled to add color to this space and I am just loving the texture and color that these pillows add too!
Just looking at the rug in this photo has me wanting to roll all over it. I mean seriously, am I the only one that gets this crazy about a rug?! The two pillows here are two of my favs out of all of them. I love the added fringe and texture that the navy one has.
And did you guys notice that my branches are blooming now?? Gahhhhh!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
I was unsure if I should keep my farmhouse sign around. I removed the cow skull that I had in here, just for a change. But I think the farmhouse sign will be staying.
And this cozy throw is so soft. It also has amazing texture and color to go with my rug.
I added some vintage books to my table. I also used alot of the books that you see me buying and ripping the covers off, in my IG stories. I find cheap novels a lot at thrift stores and rip off the covers for a more neutral look.

I ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ the rug! Not a fan of red, but I do love it in this rug. All of the pillows in the last photo are keepers. Ditch the one with red. That blue with all that yummy texture is my fav. Would so get this if i had blue in the living room. Hmmmm, I do have blue in the master bedroom. Should I or not.???????????? Thank you all the inspiration and making me lol with your stories. ????

I love the navy pillow and the textured cream and gold shag pillow. Don’t like the one with the red on it or the black and white one though. Hope that helps.

Your blue cushion is also my favourite and I think it goes best with the beige, crochet one. Your rug is lovely and adds a great layer to your room. I dislike the cushion with the red in it and also faux fur ones, but they do all match.

It’s hard for me to see beyond that cute, furry face but once I did, I’m loving your new/old rug and that yummy macramé pillow. Heart eyes all the way with that one and my second favorite is the heavily textured blue beaut. Yep, those are my top two, right behind Chester, of course. ????
My fave is the macrame’ and the neutral with hints of color.

I love the navy textured pillow & also the faux fur pillows. I always think any of the rugs that you put in your space are stunning! They always add that extra pop of color that’s needed when you have all white decor! In the first pic Chester’s like, “Mom, enough already!” Lol!! Keep doin’ whatcha doin’ girl! It’s gorgeous!

Choice one is definitely the blue. But if you can go for a second, the black and white, and third choice (I mean that’s only half the options, right?!) would be cream macrame.
The blue is my absolute favorite. The fringe one with gold things and a tie between fur and Macrame. I don’t like the one with the red stripe but you can’t go wrong with any of the others. So pretty!! Love your rug!!
I’d vote for all of the ones with colors, brings your eye up to couch level, maybe add a touch of muted color in the accessories to bring some color up to table and wall level?

I love the rug! Where did you find it. I am leery to buy a used rug because we have a dog and if there are any animal smells, he may pee on it? Yours looks great. Do you shampoo used rugs when you get them? thanks!

I LOVE old rugs! Serious heart eyes. My fave on the pillows, not that it matters, are: The textured blue one on the love seat, and I like the one with the little bit of red to relate to the rug. I’m with those who don’t like the fuzzy one(s). Just not a fan, but the ones with all the texture are divine. I couldn’t have one in my home with sparklies, my dogs would instantly be at them. As for your farmhouse sign, you didn’t ask for an opinion, I hope you don’t mind a comment…… I find “farmhouse” and “cottage” signs curious. Ditto for ones that say “laundry” or “Kitchen” we all know what room we’re in. And if I live in a farmhouse I don’t need a sign designating it’s one. Does that sound mean? I so hope it doesn’t! It’s one of my personal quirks. BUT I DO LOVE real, vintage signs! LOVE them. I enjoy your blog immensely, follow you on IG and love your style. So I hope that makes up for the sign comment.
