This little bathroom that Kaden and Brylie share has been in need of a makeover for quite some time! Brylie has been asking to take this project on all by herself. It’s her first really big diy space of her own and she did great!
She painted the vanity, the walls, and the hardware pulls all on her own! After the first night of painting the vanity, she came downstairs and said, “my body hurts, mom”. I finally have someone to share in my project body aches! And, talk about trying to get a photo of the smallest and darkest room in the house with an almost 12 year old…she’s such a cutie though!
She wanted to add a little shelf since there is not much storage in this small space. Trav (dad) made some brackets for us and we used a piece of plywood that we had on hand for the shelf…such a quick and easy project!
She also painted some rainbow art on a canvas and it fits in so perfectly on her new shelf!
Chester wanted in on the action even though he’s almost as big as the bathroom itself…but what would a renovated space be without Chester in the reveal?!
Chester is not sure what is going on here!
Brylie would love to hear in the comments below what you think of her little bathroom makeover. She had so much fun working on it!
Vanity Paint: Behr “Pebble Creek”
Wall Paint: Valspar “Chalk”
